A bit far from the city, but perfect location if your destination is nearby. My trip was to watch a sport game in Ookini Arena, there was a shuttle bus from Sakurajima station which is right in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient. There’s 2 convenient store nearby, the hotel also has cafe, bar, and restaurants that I visited multiple times. The breakfast and dinner buffet was great, and the bar was quiet and comfortable. There’s also Universal Citywalk one station away, which has a lot of stores and restaurants. There’s a free ferry nearby to take you to aquarium and other attractions. Hotel staff are lovely and there are staff that can help you if you have questions about transportation and other itineraries. There’s an onsen, a gym, and coin laundry in the hotel which all I used during my stay.

It is set 700 metres from Minato Kumin Centre and offers a shared kitchen. The guest house features family rooms. It was very clean, the owner was friendly and it was a comfortable place. I think I'll come back again next time.

The open-air hot-spring bath at Fudoguchikan is available 24 hours, and separate per gender. The ryokan also houses a lounge, a shop and drinks vending machines. A variety of yukata robes are available for rent, and free parking is on site. traditional futon bed, mineral-rich hot spring water (silky taxture!). Great traditional dinner and breakfast.

Guests at Ryokan Nanten-En can try on the yukata robe and relax in the gentle atmosphere created by the shoji paper screens, woven-straw floor and views of greenery. All rooms have traditional shared bathing facilities; Superior rooms include a private toilet. We had a great stay in Nanten-en! The staff is very nice and always ready to help. The place is lovely (room, garden, etc), just next to the Amami train station. The onsen is a nice experience, very relaxing. Diner in the room is fabulous (different dishes are served) and bed are very comfy. We highly recommend to stay at Nanten-en to live fully the ryokan experience :)

Hotel Kanade Kanku Kaizuka offers a hot spring bath. VERY close to the station. Quiet location, but it has a big supermarket nearby & a nice park for sunset viewing. It also has a convenience store in front of the hotel. Nice staff & easy access from the Kansai airport.
