From our window, we had a captivating view of the historic Burg Hohenwerfen castle. The breakfast was very good and rich. Our room was spotless and well-equipped with all necessities. The hotel has been recently renovated and is very comfortable with every convenience we could want. Werfen has two main attractions (if you don't count the Sound of Music trail): the Eisriesenwelt ice caves and the Hohenwerfen fortress. We were just down the road from the first and looked out the window at the second - definitely worth the extra few Euros for the castle view room! Plenty of free parking.
