Absolutely loved this place. Peaceful and quiet what a place to relax. Watching the kangaroos in the grounds of the house. sitting outside in the evening with the firepit just listening to all the different noises was fantastic. I think the name Wonderland Evo escape is absolutely spot on. If we return to the area again and we needed somewhere to stay I would definitely return here.

The hosts were absolutely amazing and SO accomodating and friendly! The atmosphere was 10/10. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and our personalised order for breakfast was taken. The scenery from the privacy of our room and the wildlife were sensational!

The location is unmatched! All you need to do is stumble out of bed to see the kangaroos taking their morning bath at sunrise. The everglades tours start there as well, unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to do it. I would recommend to stay 3-4 nights. It is a little remote but there’s a shuttle in case you need something from town or want to see the fairy pools in noosa.

Wonderful little hotel. We loved our room. It was super comfy. Our room had an updated bathroom, a smart TV (with picture quality that made us realise we should probably replace our own at home). Set back off the main road in Gympie which is now significantly quieter with the Bruce Hwy bypass.( It's also across the road from Alford Park which has a lake with birds and 2.great kids playgrounds, one for littler kids.) Then hotel has a restaurant on site open most nights 6-8. We had room service, getting two of their pizzas which are 11 inches each and absolutely delicious, with very generous fillings. Slept like logs, even my 9 year old who is an early riser. We stayed one night only on our way through and would happily stay again for more nights.

Beautiful setting! Couldn't see the lake very well, but the outside seating area is lovely. The most amazing views of an abundance of birds. The accommodation is modern but extremely comfortable. Everything you could need for a relaxing stay over. A lovely selection of teas and coffees and complimentary milk. We met the owner on departure. What a lovely friendly lady!
