Such an amazing place! Excellent communication all along from reservation to during our stay. We had the best night's sleep - really comfortable bed and completely silent at night. The stars in the night sky were amazing, we spent ages stargazing before going to bed. The other stars are the cows! Huge thanks to Rod who gave us a great tour and let us get right up close and brush the cows, they were amazing, such lovely animals. All the while the hens pecking around us too, and the friendliest dog tagging along as well. Couldn't have asked for more and we were sad to leave. If we were coming again I'd stay two nights for sure, especially when you buy a ticket for Port Arthur Historic site and it can be used over two days, because it's just a few minutes down the road. Highly recommended!

Loved every minute of this stay. It's off the beaten track with a short distance to the local market. Largely secluded, however looks like a few neighbours are moving in with their own cabins going up. If you're doing any of the surrounding hikes, or just running out from the world, this is a perfect location. The view over the deck in the morning or evening is awesome, as is that leather couch of 'crashing' after a long day of hikes. Full kitchen, well furnished, just pick up your shopping on the way.

Very comfortable and cosy cottage with generous supplies of basic items - coffee pods, tea, sugar, oil, etc and wood for the fire. Lovely views of bay and sunset and easy walking distance to beach. It was a great place to stay for our family catch-up. Highly recommend.

    The food was great, the staff were very friendly & the room was huge. The room having a microwave, fridge, toaster & kettle along with cutlery etc made it easy to prepare breakfast & lunch in. The view for my room was second to none & really made waking up so much easier. The bed was very comfortable & the room warm enough despite its huge size. Location wise it was perfect, ample parking & so easy to find.

    The historic beauty of the buildings, rooms and lake. Friendliness of staff A hidden gem, stunningly beautiful pub. Have told friends, family and travelers about it. Best place i stayed at in Tassie by far. Heaps of parking Great prices and facilities.

    I was visiting Port Arthur Museum and found the Motor Inn was actually on the site and I could just open my veranda door and walk down. I enjoyed the seafood platter which was excellent value for money. Good car parking facilities and lovely helpful staff

    easy to find location, quite, clean off street parking right at the front door. as we had flight delays we did not arrive until late and the owners/operators turn on the heating in the lounge before we arrived making it nice and warm on our arrival

    The location is great -- next to Port Arthur Historical Site. There is also an onsite restaurant and bar, as well as onsite parking. The evening meal served at the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly.
