Unique quaint space in the heart of Bern. Public transport is about 800 meters (.5 mile from the location) or it’s a beautiful mile stroll/bike into the old town. I stayed in the loft space and I’m on my way to Amsterdam so it felt like I was getting practice on the way their lol Cute little kitchen, bathroom, living room and a reading nook in the loft space with the comfiest chair, had an awesome sleep in a comfy bed. Then finished off my stay by having an espresso In the cute kitchen before departing.

Large room, the garden is beautiful and well setup for having a quiet space, the kitchen is set up with everything required, bathroom and toilet were spacious and clean … Evelyn is very easy to communicate with and was very informative when I arrived and in letting me know when the other room on the floor would be occupied…Evelyn was also very helpful on my last night in phoning taxi companies to book for the following morning… I enjoyed my stay here very much. The location was handy for walking to and from the city, and the attractions that I wanted to see … it is close to the river and a lot of scenic places to see and walk around.. Bern is quite hilly so for moving about with luggage, a taxi or bus is suggested …

Harry's was a 2 minute walk from the train station and reception has extended opening hours. The room was well laid out, bed very comfortable and there is also a couch. The reception staff were outstanding and helped us store some wine which needed to be kept cold. The book exchange with some great English tiles was a bonus. The laundry room was also a plus: a load of washing only 2CHF, as was the dryer.

    It is conveniently located and has an underground parking lot but it is not for free. Also, very spacious bar terrace on the top floor with a beautiful view. Reception staff give you free public transport passes on the check-in for the duration of your stay, which I believe is a citywide policy in Bern.
