We stayed at Teresa Bay Hotel on a long drive to the Italian coast from the UK. We arrived tired and weary and left refreshed. The view from our superior room over the lake was stunning. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and hot water was plentiful. We used the hotel parking for a small fee. The restaurant also overlooked the lake, so we had a couple of wonderful meals served by really friendly staff. The hotel is a really good base for exploring the area. I highly recommend it.

We're a family of 4. Stayed one night and regret that we didn't stay longer. Pros: - The hotel is fully renovated with very modern room & facilities while conserving the classic and historic feeling of original site & surroundings. - room was spacious, and the interior was very nice with good lighting conditions. - view was a bit limited lake view due to the original building structure, but maybe in another room, it should have a great lake view, as the hotel stood on the hill over the lake. - had a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel restaurant and food was very nice with at least one star quality, and people there provided really attentive and kind service. - They have dedicated, large size parking building (with a fee) Cons - It's actually a little far from Lugano center, but I knew it and it was not my problem. All in all, it is a much more modern and classy hotel than expected, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Lugano again.

Very nice and very clean apartment! Good location, free parking, self check-in worked well, the instructions were clear and simple, and access to the apartment was quick with a code thanks to the clear instructions. I especially liked the bed; the pillows were very high-quality and gave a nice, luxurious feel (unfortunately many apartments tend to skimp on good pillows!).

Newly opened, beautifully decorated, air conditioned bedrooms, great facilities, family-run and extremely friendly. Set on the banks of Lake Lugano, the terrace, where you have breakfast/ drinks has amazing views across the lake. The breakfast is outstanding- freshly baked breads to start, followed by homemade waffles, and finished off with any type of eggs and bacon. Fabulous orange juice and tea/coffee. The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!

The place has an excellent and convenient location, close to the city but surrounded by green hills. It’s very well equipped, fully clean and full of compliments like social games and books, perfect for family trips. And in the top of all, the managers are kind, responsive and nice people. We definitely will back. Last, but not least, the place really has a free parking, unlike other properties with external and expensive parkings.

This is the finest facility I've ever visited. It's spacious, incredibly modern, impeccably clean, and superbly equipped. The neighborhood is fantastic and exceptionally safe, even at night. The apartment is conveniently located very close to the train station and just a few minutes from the city center. Additionally, there is private parking available very close to the property. I inadvertently overlooked mentioning the view, which is truly remarkable.

Extremely quiet part of Lugano. Location is perfect - 5 minutes to lake, 15 minutes to Lugano center. It is extremely pedestrian city. Host Ana is extremely kind and always there to assist you for anything you may need. Easy check in. You have bakery, cafes and bars in a 5-minute distance by foot. You have very big supermarket - Migros at about 7 minutes from apartment. Bus stops are 2-3 minutes from you depends in destination you need. We will definitely come back soon.

    Great location! Beautifully restored property, great attention to details. One has everything you need in the 2 floor apartment. Lots of windows, providing beautiful views and air flow. The terrace is wonderful, equipped with patio table and chairs for dining, lounge area and barbq. The exterior is nicely landscaped, and on site parking. Paolo is a great host and available for any questions.

    The location between the train station and the lake is outstanding! The staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious but not all have air conditioning. Rooms are clean with amenities. Dogs are welcome even in the restaurant. Parking onsite for a fee. Restaurant has a waterfront view and the food was well-prepared. Outside terrace is wonderful for relaxing or drinks.
