My stay at CMYK Stoneyards was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish. The house is beautiful, the surrounding nature is stunning, and the food is the freshest and most delicious I have eaten in China. This place is a little paradise, the owner has done an incredible job at designing the spaces and the staff is super friendly. Big thank you to Marina for her warm welcome and support during my stay. It’s so close to the wall. You can sit in the gardens and look at the wall. The staff were exceptional. Incredibly helpful in guiding us about wall tickets etc. The hotel shuttle to the wall was a lovely vehicle and the entire hotel felt extremely classy and high end. It makes going to the wall a lovely experience, rather than a rushed bus tour.

This mountain retreat enjoys a beautiful scenic location near the Great Wall, with rooms located from the base to the top of the hill.

While the price was a little high compared to other places of this standard, you cannot beat it for its location and the serenity of the environment that it is situated within. The staff are great and do their best to make sure that you have what you need and when you need it. The views from the room, if it isn't foggy, are simply stunning and time seems to stand still when you are staying there. Stan kindly provided us with transport to and from the Great Wall and this helped to set up a wonderful day for us.

My friends and I stayed 2 nights in relax homestay. The rooms were very clean and well designed. The personel was very attentive and kind. They have been super patient since we speak very little chinese, find us good places to eat and offered to guide us to a sunset hidden spot. The hotel is a beautiful property really well decorated. It’s a great place to chose if you have kids. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and her husband cooks delicious Chinese meals. The entrance to the Great Wall is at about 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
