A very nice guesthouse with lots of charm and beautiful surroundings. Located just outside Hongcun it is surrounded by paddy fields and a small river. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I liked the friendlyness of the host and his eagerness to help. Also, he spoke English so communication was no problem. The interior of the apartment is really nice and traditional. In less than 10 minutes slow walking I was able to get to the Ancient town. PS: the ticket to the ancient town is valid for 3 days

The location of the hotel is great if you want to go on a hike to the Huangshan mountain. The staff is very helpful, they arranged a shuttle for us to get to the hotel for a very reasonable price and also helped us hire a car to see different venues. They were also very friendly, kind and did everything they could to help us have a great stay. On the first day, they showed us a map with different trails on the mountain and what can we do up there.
