The hosts were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to assist with recommendations for local excursions and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Having traveled to many places, I must say that my vacation at Villa Metschke stands out as one of the most memorable experiences. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Whether you're a couple, a family or traveling with children, there's something for everyone here. The location is also ideal for day trips to charming towns like Görlitz, Bad Muskau, Niesky, Bautzen and other picturesque spots in the Lusatian region. A nice and quiet place, a historic house with remaining original details, such as a skylight (you can read about the house and the whole street in the brochures at the house). Be sure to visit the nearby former granite mines (Natur- und Steinbruch- Lehrpfad Königshain). I was impressed with both the accommodation and the environment

Everything was perfect, the host is lovely and accomodating and the House has everything you need to spend a night or longer. We just stayed for 1 night but the area is really beautiful and calm and I’d happily stay longer.
