I would unreservedly recommend this accommodation for an overnight stop in conjunction with the ferry to/from Norway or for a longer stay as a base for exploring northern Denmark. The first impression was highly positive, with the hosts coming out to greet us on arrival. What a warm and friendly greeting! Highly appreciated, and it set the tone for our overnight stay. The accommodation was perfect for our needs, with the all the necessary equipment, and a fine level of comfort in relaxing surroundings. The EV charger was an extra plus. This would certainly be my accommodation of choice in any future visits to the area.

Location is good (even though we were without a car) - walked to the hotel from one of the train stops nearby and the other walked to the Ferry terminal (to catch the Smyril Line to the Faroe Islands). Friendly staff, nice restaurant with great food, big room and cozy lobby bar. Would recommend for people travelling by the ferry to the Faroe Islands/Iceland.

The apartment ist really nice and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was really good and since you finish the preparation by yourself you are super flexible with the time. Anne is very nice host. We took the farry to norway therefore the location ist really good.

I loved the atmosphere of the place, the accommodation itself, the welcoming hosts, but above all - breakfast consisting of different fish, sprouts, all very delicious. Peace and quiet surrounding the house was exactly what we needed. The place is really close to the harbor so it is very convenient if you travel to Norway. Highly recommended :)

Beautiful, quiet, charming, cozy, well decorated. We LOVED this house, and would return without a doubt. Everything needed for a stay was there. Nice backyard. We were there for just a night before taking the ferry to Norway but we could have stayed for a week

A lovely and peaceful place to rest after a day of exploring! We especially enjoyed the private garden - perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. Having the whole house to ourselves made it feel like a home away from home. Convenient location near the port, quiet surroundings, and everything we needed was there. Would definitely stay again!

    The owner has bought the town's old train station to convert into a home and three nightly rental apartments. This is the first completed and what an exceptional job they are doing. Very nice bed, linens and decor. Comfortable separate eat in kitchen with everything you need with the exception of a stove. Refrigerator, coffee machine, coffee, tea and breakfast in the refrigerator, all nice touches. Very quiet with free parking in front of the room.

    Very Friendly Staff. Large Comfortable Room. Very Convenient for the Ferry. We were able park the car in the hotel's car park for 4 days at a very reasonable rate while we were in Norway. All the staff we interacted with had excellent English skills.

    The location was great as we were catching the ferry to Iceland the next morning. Very nice hotel, a clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of free onsite parking. Would def recommend for ferry travellers.
