Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our friend Fernando and the owner of the house for their gracious hospitality and for opening the doors of Casa Victor Riu to us. Our stay at Casa Victor Riu is beyond description in a single word; hence, I hope this review does it justice. As a family, we felt deeply honored to be the very first guests to stay at the magnificent Casa Victor Riu. Nestled in the traditional old municipality of Piera, within the enchanting city of Barcelona, the house left an indelible mark on our hearts, providing the tranquility and space we so earnestly sought. Even before our arrival, the photographs of the house evoked a sense of connection. This connection was immediately reinforced upon our first walk through the stunning, breathtaking garden. The thoughtfully designed house, with its harmonious integration of architecture and nature, made us feel at ease right from the start. The Italian-inspired walls and designs beautifully accentuate the essence of Casa Victor Riu: its garden. The garden, meticulously cared for, tells its own stories and has been nurtured with great attention to detail. Despite the grey and rainy weather, the garden and house maintained their vibrant charm. The various terraces and spots around the house provided ample space for us to comfortably enjoy and take in the awe-inspiring views of the garden and the city upon the hill. Casa Victor Riu transported us back to an era of class and elegance. The magnificent living room, highlighted by a striking fireplace, made our stay during the rainy days particularly cozy. The bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are exquisitely designed to complement the overall aesthetics of the house. Every room in the house has its unique design, fitting together like pieces of a puzzle, providing each family member with their private space.

Unique location with breathtaking view, and a wonderfull host! Altough it is a shared pool with the owners you have it to yourself at all times. The tranquility and scenery of the location is incomparable. Makes a great location for day trips to the cava wine houses in Penedes, or to Montserrat. Only a few minutes drive from supermarket & town. On top of that we had the opportunity to get a short tour with the owner, seeing the farm animals, vinyard & olive garden.

    The breakfast area and building is nice. The staff member who I spoke to about checking in was very nice and accommodating (our flight was delayed and we had trouble with the rental car company so we ended up checking in around midnight). Free parking.

    Lovely mountain village. A tranqui stop over on our way to Costa Blanca. Clean, comfortable and well kept house - with a good breakfast. Private car park directly behind the property. Organised down to a tee with keys, door codes and contact info. We found it easy enough.

    Everything was really good, lovely setting in the old part of the village but the sat nav took us straight to it, the bonus was it had a private, secure car park. The room was lovely and the breakfast delicious. Friendly welcome and everything explained to us.

    Excellent accommodation in a renovated house in old village. Very clean and comfortable. You need to call the concierge when you arrive. Must have cell coverage! Free parking in secure lot on site. Nice breakfast buffet. Would recommend. Close to Monserrat.
