It was a wonderful place. We arrived late and were greeted by two friendly dogs. Breakfast choice was limited but high quality. My husband and I enjoyed the croissants and fresh eggs (from the hens outside!). We arrived late, but it was not an issue.

This hotel is amazing. They have done a super job choosing all the right materials for this place. Cozy, personal and very good aesthetic looking. Location is awesome right behind the serrat mountain. Nice trails around if you wanna go running och biking. Carola was so helpful with all the service. Atope!

You have everything you need just in one place! And of course near to your apartment! But if you want to cook some food at home - you will have everything, but it will be better to buy food before Monestrol 😉 Except of it - the best place for my opinion: cozy, warm, comfortable as possible

The house was great; more than big enough for all of us and the owner, despite not speaking English, was quite helpful, thanks to Google translate. He answered all our questions and provided the additional info we were looking for - directing us to local shops, petrol stations, etc. Making the washing machine available was a bonus as this is only normally available for lets of 3 days or more. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the facilities in general were very good.

We had the perfect host who was in contact with us several days before we arrived to make sure our check in would be smooth. Monistrol is the ideal place to stay to be able to have a full day at Montserrat and the location of this apartment was an easy 10 min walk to the funicular. The apartment is newly renovated, so the host is in the process of fine tuning some small glitches and welcomed our feedback. It is spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. It will definitely become a very popular choice for travellers to the area.

    The room had a spectacular view onto the monastery and wider vista (although I have seen that some people have not been so lucky and have instead faced the cliff face). Staying so close allows you to experience the monastery in the late evening before it closes without the crowds. Also, we were able to enjoy the sunrise with a short walk up to Michael's Cross which I would thoroughly recommend. Whilst there is no parking directly adjacent to the hotel, you can use the temporary space to drop your bags and then park for 14euros nearby.

    Location can't be beat. And you get parking (albeit some distance away) which is otherwise a huge hassle. Understand that everything up there -- shops, restaurant (only one mediocre place, albeit with good service and excellent wine), cafeterias, hotel, apartments, hostel -- is under the same management. So if you want to stay up there - and really to appreciate one of the world's great holy places, you should -- you have to take what they offer and the apts. are the cheapest option.
