The accommodation was great. Ramon was an exceptional and informative host. We arrived, not realising that there was no restaurant, so he provided us with a meal.

This beautiful boutique hotel is a true gem - hidden in an only seemingly small cottage in a tiny village at the end of the world (or at least the end of Spain), This area few kilometers from the border with Portugal is amazing and begs to be explored - ancient megalithic sites, ruins of Roman conquest and hot spring baths and beautiful tall mountains - and this lovingly restored and kept hotel is the perfect base. The restaurant wasn't open when we stayed but breakfast was plenty. The rooms were beautiful and the large common areas invited to sit and talk or pick up a book.

The apartment was wonderful - spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed. It was perfectly situated and just a couple of minutes away from the central square. There was plenty of parking close by. The hosts were absolutely amazing, and helped us out in so many ways. We had a fantastic stay - it is one of the best places we have ever stayed inland a great experience all round - and we would completely recommend Celenova House

This apartment was a revelation ! So very Welcoming and comfortable. The front door is very nicely decorated and fits in with the surrounding rustic environment. The decor inside is very nice and stylishly rustic but modern with a lovely colour scheme. It's a huge room with a comfortable , large sofa. Opposite is a high table which serves as a bfast table and worktop. The furniture includes very large comfortable bed, 2 versatile bedside tables, a bench which serves very well to stand your luggage and a simple but very convenient frame for clothes etc. The bathroom is very nice too with a very good shower and all amenities. The kitchen too is very well equipped with all necessities , including a washing machine which we found very convenient. May I suggest a small portable Clothes horse. The owner was kind enough to let me borrow an iron. This place was so sweet and pleasant and had all the amenities one would need. The owner was very nice to us though we did not meet in person. Parking is just outside the door and the place is just a few minutes of beautiful drive, out of Allariz. If you're around, this is an excellent place to stay and proves to be a great experience. The host, Mila, met me at the apartment and explained everything to me (she only speaks Spanish). She recommended many places to eat and I visited them all. She checked in on me during my stay and made sure everything was going well. The apartment is a located across the street from the river and there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Although the apartment is in a central location it was quiet. The wifi worked well. The hot water was very good. There is a washing machine available and a full kitchen. I would stay here again!

we spent a wonderful long weekend in this very well upkept rural house. the owners are very friendly and accommodating, going above & beyond to help everyone. we would surely choose to rent here once again if returning to the area
