There was another set of stairs inside the apartment to take you to the top level and the balcony overlooking the street: think twice if you have any knee or leg issues as this may not be the apartment for you. As it was a hotel, we didn't have as much contact with the staff, but the receptionist was pretty friendly nontheless.
