Check in was easy with the host meeting us and we were able to organise to ring the bell for her to meet us rather than calling which was appreciated as we didn’t have local phone service. The property has a secure gate and we were able to park our car close to the apartment entrance. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep- despite being near a main road it was very quiet. There is air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom area but it was unexpectedly cool so we didn’t need to use this. The kitchen facilities were good for making a meal and a lovely breakfast was provided of fresh baguette with spreads, yoghurt, fruits, cake, and muesli.

Wonderful small gite with all comfort needed located in a tiny farming village close to Blois and the beautiful castles in the Loire valley. Thierry is a very hospitable host available to accommodate all needs and requests. Would definitely recommend this place if you love a little peaceful hideaway in lovely traditional style

the nice and friendly chat with the owner every morning. Peaceful quiet surroundings, close to the city Blois and a lot of castles in the neighbourhood. It is a cool house even we had a heat wave. Very nice shower. Tasty bread. Fresh mint for the tea, right from the garden.
