Nice one night stay during cycling trip. Very kind couple who welcomed us. Very flexible check-in, as we could arrive even around 10 PM. We forgot to inform our arriving time beforehand which would have been polite. Clean room with own shower.

The chateau is beautiful, photos do not do it justice. It is more impressive in real life. The building, the staircase, the grounds, all are beautiful. The rooms are very spacious. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. An atmosphere of calm prevails throughout. Old beautiful with modern amenities such as a reliable lift and efficient air conditioning and we were there on some very hot days. The parking is secure behind a security gate right next to the chateau. You can have breakfast outside in the beautiful grounds which is a lovely start to the day. It is a 12 minute walk at a slow pace as it was so hot into the old town of Samaur which was also perfect. Very helpful and friendly staff.

great location in Saumur. the apartment is in an old historical building in the center of town with a view of the river. the entrance was with a code (one for the building and one for the apartment) we received the codes in advance from the host. in the apartment is refurbished and modern, it is not very large but has everything we needed and organized perfectly by an internal design professional. beds were very comfortable and the host left us everything we needed. the apartment is very recommended for visiting Saumur. there is no parking attached to the apartment but there is free parking near by and if no space available in the free parking, there is paid parking which is free after 18:30 and until 09:00.

    The room was beautiful and very spacious. The view from the front windows over the River was very peaceful in the morning as the sun was rising. The bed was comfortable and large. Check-in was prompt and parking was very easy.

    We had the charming tower room with a lovely view of the garden and the Loire river. The beds were very comfortable and the room was en-suite. The whole house was classicly furnished in a 19th century style with a beautiful dining room. We shared the table for breakfast with the other guests, including the charming hostess - something we enjoyed very much. The parking was very secure inside a locked gate.
