    Right in the centre of the old town close to the castle (closed for renovations) an old fashioned tall townhouse with steep staircase Helpful friendly host and free parking in a local underground carpark was a bonus. Great selection for breakfast served around a shared sitting room table. Good to have our own separate sitting room as part of our ‘suite’ with small fridge, kettle, and even bottle opener and chopping board.

    The room was OK size and was quite modern. Bed was comfy and it was clean. Very easy off street parking on site. General area quiet. Good Italian restaurant out of town 2 mins drive up the road which was fortunate. OK for a stop over for one night.

    Perfectly located in the heart of the old city, the studio at La Mirandole is very spacious and comfortable. The host was extremely welcoming, and made many wonderful suggestions for day trips. The secure parking is just 3 minutes’ walk from the property. I would highly recommend La Mirandole and hope to return next year.

    Secure parking for the motorcycle was great. The owner was very helpful, and extremely patient on the telephone. The apartment was lovely, all the facilities you would want. It's a short walk to the centre - and Foix is a really pretty town.

    This hotel is outside the historical centre, so you need some form of transport to get to town. It is, however, enormously convenient if you have a car, as the hotel provides free parking on the premises. The rooms are clean and inviting, very quiet, with heating in winter, reception is polite and helpful, breakfast very decent. An excellent choice for a short stay in Foix. Good value.
