In a very quiet little village, off the beaten track. The owners were welcoming and made space for my motorbike under cover in the gated driveway. The house is practically a castle, with guest rooms up a stone spiral staircase: obviously on ascent one considers oneself a knight heading to rest after a long day on horseback!

Absolutely stunning property- the room was beautiful and very high specification with lots of character features. Gilles and Fabienne were wonderful hosts and made a wonderful breakfast plus gave us lots of local info and booked restaurants for us!

Perhaps the most beautiful “Chappelle” one could overnight in. Very tastefully decorated, beautiful stone building with completely modern touches. A great overnight in L’Isle-sur-Serein. Emmanuelle and Gracci are delightful hosts. Very warm and welcoming. And not to be missed is Le Epis d’Or the local bar and social hub of the village run by Madame Kiyo and le beau Serge.
