Wonderful location in a well laid out gite in part of an old mill. Ideal for a rural break on the edge of the Brenne National Park. The owners were friendly and attentive in preparing our accommodation.

A charming and engaging host who enjoyed conversations on a number of interesting topics. The rural setting was perfect for a relaxing stay. We also enjoyed a walk from the property to a spot with clear view to enable me to do some night astro photography later in the evening.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was a good size and tastefully decorated. The bed was possibly the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. The local community made me feel very welcome. The full English breakfast on the Saturday morning was excellent.

This is a magical place, furnished with love & care by Kristof and Yvan. We received warm welcome and allowed to do early checkin. The room and castle common areas are super clean and very well maintained. The wine, and table d’hôte were perfect to complement the stay and help us relax. We will definitely be back in future!
