Access via the renaissance-period spiral stone stairs made it feel like we were in a castle! Great as a base for a visit to this historic town, especially with the free parking which is invaluable, even if a 10 minute walk away (it's worth using the nearer old town parking, which is free for an hour, to drop bags and pick up the car park card).
