This is a superb little hotel. For the price I was not sure what to expect, but everything exceeded my expectations. Wonderful staff, a basic but well equipped room that was spotlessly clean and modern, pet-friendly (very), a great breakfast, ample parking and strong Wi-Fi. The location is great for the autoroute and there are two adjacent restaurants - an American diner and a rather good Italian.

We had to return from Dieppe to retrieve our travel documents that we had inadvertently left in the room and stay another night to catch the ferry the next day and the folder was waiting for us in reception, very honest and efficient. We had an evening meal in their restaurant which was really good. The room was very quiet despite facing the street.

The house and surroundings were stunningly beautiful. It felt incredibly peaceful in the middle of a forest. Our hosts were so friendly and joined us for breakfast. The owner is a master chocolatier and he treated us to some of his delicious chocolate and macarons. Our room was up in the eaves and had beautiful exposed beams.

    We've stayed here many times en route to the south. It's a brilliant location, has free, secure, underground parking and a decent breakfast at a good price. It's quite quirky which is great. It's so nice to stay somewhere individual rather than a standard 'corporate' style hotel that could be anywhere in the world. Staff are always friendly and helpful. And there's a nice Italian restaurant nearby which always serves great meals - even on a Monday

    The location: right in the centre of the town. And the secure underground parking: once we had found it. The breakfast was satisfactory but not well presented: boiled eggs that you cannot get the shell off.
