Mostly everything was spectacular but the staff made the stay at the Castle relaxing and utterly enjoyable. As you’d expect they were attentive and professional, but it was their genuineness and warmth that took it to another level. Incredible!

Tranquil location, lots of wild life Birds, Ducks and Water fowl in the pond. Bats, Owls, loads of Rabbits our nightly Hedgehog and also a deer walked right by the lodge. Fantastic location for relaxing break.

Very cosy place to stay. We booked it as an overnight stay coming from Cairnryan direction Edinburgh. Funny bit is that after traveling a week through Scotland the kids loved that place the most.

What can I say about this little gem of a hotel! Absolutely brilliant hosts, brilliant food, lovely setting beside river, very comfortable room, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We loved it. The Sunday roast was amazing, the beef just melted when you cut it. Breakfast was a feast of Scottish flavours. The whole ambience was just superb. Thank you Michelle, Beth and Chris for your hospitality.

My mom and I had a wonderful stay here. Pat gave us advice on where to eat, was great company and had a beautiful place. We had an early ferry and we got a packed breakfast which was delicious. We would recommend this B&B to anyone.

This property was perfect for our family, we used it as a base to travel to the Highlands and climb Ben Nevis. Very quiet place, which suited us. Our host went above and beyond for us, we appreciated everything she did for us. While this was our 1st trip to Scotland, we will "Haste ye back"

    Clean, very comfortable and cozy caravan with everything you possibly need / fully stocked kitchen. Allocated parking slot next to caravan. My 6 and 3 years old girls absolutely loved it, from the moment we stepped inside. The children's play area was an additional bonus. Peaceful location-Only 5 min drive to Ballantrae beach. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Returned my call straight away. Highly recommended.

    We loved the location in the middle of a Glen a few miles from the Sea front. Easy access to the main road and 15/20 mins from major towns. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and had everything you could possibly want for. The sofa’s in the living room were amazing and the beds were amazing. There was even off road parking and as it was on the Water of Tig, had its own swimming pool.

    Beautiful static caravan with loads of room both inside and outside. Wee bits and pieces which made us feel welcome. Lovely location - very tranquil. Trees, rabbits, birds… Own, marked out parking area A lovely wee pub/restaurant in the park with friendly people. (All dog friendly)

    Great location quiet and peaceful, the house was fab clean and comfortable, great parking at the property, lots of wildlife to sit and watch, close to shops at Girvan and Stranraer, we loved the open fire as it went nippy in the evening, good communication with the host always replied promptly to answer any questions we had, overall would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break.
