This Highland haven was a bijou. Nestled on a Croft, it provided a welcome break from the camper van. It was so comfortable and the thoughtful owners had covered all bases. There was even ice for my G&T ready in the freezer box. The views were truly stunning and the welcome warm. I would not hesitate to recommend the Shepherd’s hut to travellers - we just wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

A true gem, everything was absolutely perfect and even exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome by Stephen and Margaret, who were incredibly kind and gracious hosts, to the spacious and beautifully designed "Mrs Peacock" en-suite room that resembled a luxury boutique hotel. The room was tastefully decorated with stylish accessories, had a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The breakfast served with locally sourced produce was simply amazing, and we couldn't help but admire the extensive collection of books available for guests to enjoy. The presence of a music studio added an extra touch of charm to the place. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again in the future.

We loved everything about our stay — the house, the location, the sheep, and the chickens! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable. Fantastic location by broom loch , small but had everything we needed very well thought out , extras ….Home baked bread and bottle of processco ! Perfect !steve the owner greeted us explained everything we needed then left us to it , really lovely place.
