    Very good location for south/north travel. Ample free parking. Friendly staff. Dinner possible on location; and very good breakfast (for those who appreceate English breakfast and its variants - otherwise only cereals as alternative). Good bedding. Excellent shower. Although this is a busy pub and sound proofing is somewhat limited, on a friday night this did not bother us.

    Friendly welcoming people. Room was clean and finished to a high standard. You would have to be very picky to find fault Breakfast was freshly cooked and again of a high standard. Food dining options and quality for dinner were both excellent and good value. Free car parking was available outside the property via a disc system

    Lovely staff - friendly and efficient; very comfortable and warm room; free parking; excellent and reasonably priced meal in the restaurant - highly recommend the pie and sausage meals. Bedale itself looked interesting - wld have liked to stay longer.
