The property was full of character and original features. It was easy enough to find and there was just enough parking. the staff were warm and welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. the food & drinks were wonderful and the room was snug, comfy and cosy. We would happily return.

Parking outside was a little tight but we parked a Ford Transit Custom in the space so mist vehicles will be fine. For a small accommodation, it is fabulously designed with everything you need first a weekend getaway for a couple

Very comfortable little apartment, cosy, spotless everything you need for a few nights stay. Lovely bed, big fluffy towels, toiletries, tea and coffee machine...private entrance meant you could come and go without disturbing the host (who was very friendly and helpful!)

Although owners away we were made to feel welcome by very friendly staff, home made treats also enjoyed on arrival. Advised also on a variety of dinner options, we were then able to enjoy a brief walk around the town and in fact decided to change our travel plans to visit some of the interesting independent shops and take in the amazing architecture. Our substantial breakfast well cooked so no room to enjoy a cream tea later. Also noted a lot of attention to detail to make your stay comfortable.

    This very quirky, well run, reasonably priced Cotswold village pub with extras is quite simply magnificent if you are looking for excellent service, quality food & good prices. I only hope that you can enjoy this hotel as we did on a balmy June day in 2024. My only advice would be to arrive early to enjoy its location but most importantly so you can get a car parking space at the back of the hotel for free, but be aware that access is not for the faint hearted!

    The breakfast very good and prompt service. The location is excellent and close for visiting many popular towns of the Cotswold, like the Broadway, Burton-on-the-water, Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-marsh etc. The parking is very good with 2 car parks on site and no restrictions on the road opposite the hotel. The only shop is well stocked and the cafe attached offers excellent food at reasonable prices. Nice quiet pretty English village to enjoy and relax.

    The friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Car parking on site and situated in a good position, convenient for Moreton in Marsh. The room was great with a lovely four poster bed and a good size shower. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Thanks for looking after us.

    What a place fiull of character . In the village of brockley .. Was surprised at the room value for money . The staff were brilliant even when we ate there changing the menu for allergies . Also the food was lovely tasty and excellent value for money Also car parking such a bonus . Would recommend
