    Lovely quirky hotel built during Henry VIII reign (?). Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast hamper (as we had to leave early for the Eurotunnel crossing.) Very easy trip to the tunnel, plenty of parking. Family atmosphere in the restaurant.

    Warm welcome, friendly staff, private car park. The room was already lit and the radio was playing Christmas music, we couldn’t have felt more welcome! Lovely pub, lots of locals visiting, good food, nice staff, lots of tables. The room very comfy, big bed, nice bathtub and the complimentary port in the room finished it all off!
