The location was magnificent. John and Jacky were best of hosts. Kind hardworking scottish farmers. Jacky an amazing cottage weaver.The bothy was A great place to get away from worldly materialism... they supplied all basics of camp stove cooking . Composting toilet and a lovely pete fire. Very cosy with a nice comfortble bed. I felt warm and safe and remote. Away from mainstream society. We loved our stay! The house is spotless—brand new and beautifully equipped with everything a family could possibly need, turning it into a true home away from home. Although we ran into some issues with the reservation and the ferries, the hostess was incredibly attentive and helped us tremendously, which we deeply appreciate since we were traveling with children. Thanks to her support, we were able to sort everything out and fully enjoy our time on the island. Highly recommended!

Everything about the place was amazing, the unique setting of the castle, the attention to detail was incredible and management were so responsive and welcoming. A fantastic location for exploring not only Stornoway but Lewis and Harris. The small fridge in the room was so handy for keeping snacks for day trips. The best nights sleep in the comfiest bed.

Fantastic accommodation. Spotlessly clean and great facilities. Welcome pack was also a lovely touch and was greatly appreciated especially as we arrived at night.

Perfect house for family with kids (Big rooms and very well equiped). Very warm welcome of the owners (we fund a full breakfast in the fridge). Although this house does not have many reviews on Booking, it have been rented since very long time : the owners are more than trustable.
