An utterly lovely, comfortable place to stay... The staff are so friendly and helpful making the stay very special. The food was beautifully prepared, presented (especially the seafood platter!) and served. My stay was an absolute pleasure and I'm already looking forward to staying there again during my next visit.

Unrivalled views blew us away on arrival. Beautiful and thoughtful finishes to all aspects of the room - a truly luxurious experience. Elly was really helpful when we needed some assistance. We had a great time. If you want the simple life for a few days without any distrachtion, this is the right place. Yet we had everything we really needed. We enjoyed the fascinating nature, the landscape and the view of the sea every morning. Our hosts John and Jackie are friendly and uncomplicated. We will probably come again.

I had the most wonderful stay with my dog. We arrived in ice and snow and were welcomed by a warm and toasty house. The cottage was cosy, functional and with outstanding views. I would and could have not asked for more - we explored all parts of Lewis and Harris and enjoyed evenings by the fire. It was a perfect base to marvel and discover this stunning corner of the world.

    Great location for visiting the north of Lewis. Missed evening mealtime as my ferry was delayed so arrived about 7.30pm. Plenty of car parking. Room was comfortable. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and tasty. Owner is a great lady. As a solo traveller it was easy to engage in conversation over breakfast with other guests. Nice atmosphere. Good price.
