Superb central country location, with lovely views - peaceful and restores the soul. The Roost is immaculate, clean and extremely comfortable with a true Cornish cottage feel. Outstanding hosts Belinda and Alan are so kind and caring - I cannot thank them enough for their kindness throughout my stay. Scrumptious welcoming traditional Cornish cream tea and a beautiful vase filled with bright happy fresh yellow roses! My only disappointment was that I did not stay longer! This little 'Roost' is one of Cornwall's best kept secrets!

Everything you needed and more in the apartment. Very comfortable, clean and modern. The little extras like coffee and milk supplied were a bonus and we were very happy with the welcome picnic. The home was exactly as demonstrated in the pictures. Extremely homely, tidy, always warm indoors, and provides lots of space for guests. Keys were easy to pick up, and on arrival we were greeted with a lovely surprise of Cornish tea supplies and flowers. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything that you might need for your stay. Other extras included board games/cards to play, and the wood burner which was extremely atmospheric during the evenings. Beds were comfortable to sleep in, and towels were provided for the stay. There are neighbours on both sides of the property, but the location is very quiet.

Thank you once again for welcoming us to your wonderful hotel. The staff are so kind and welcoming. Thank you so much to Carley for being so friendly and a wonderful person to talk to. All the receptionist stuff is so polite and very helpful. We stayed in room number 4 this time, and it was indeed spacious and very comfortable. I must say it was such a delight to meet Jenny once again she has a heart of gold and a wonderful person to meet every morning for breakfast. We had a lovely catch-up, and I just feel that she is family to me. As always, Jenny is kind and caring. The hotel was decorated to celebrate the Halloween festive season, and thank you for all the lollipops, haha!! Also, thank you for letting family members of mine come and see me and to use your car park that was much appreciated. Looking forward to coming back into December thank you so much.

Day of arrival, my wife had a migraine, and the host allowed us to check in early, which was a blessing. Tea, coffee, sugar, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner all provided, couldn't ask for anything more. Strong wi-fi. Close to the train station for anyone travelling without a car.

    Perfect location and pet friendly (though we don't have a pet we do love animals). Free parking and very friendly staff, especially Georgia who served our breakfasts - a lovely young lady. Breakfast was excellent, as were the evening meals that we had there. Room was cosy, lots of hot water and a large bath tub. Would definitely recommend.

    Excellent service. Sam, Nicky, and the team were first class , helpful, and considerate with nothing too much trouble. Free parking and full Cornish breakfast included in the very competitive price. Travelled from Wales, excellent and efficient check in.

    Great breakfast, I opted for the Full Cornish cooked. Plenty of fruit juice, cereal, etc. as one would expect. Huge car park, you need to sign your registration number in at reception or you will be charged. Three disabled parking bays.
