The Wheatsheaf Inn was amazing. Such friendly owners and staff. The rooms were very comfortable, and well set out. We ate an evening meal and a cooked breakfast and it was all a good quality. We would definitely stay again if in the area but being from New Zealand we may not be back.

I was her for a week and it was perfect for me. Located in a small village with a pub. It was absolutely quiet, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and a comfy bed.

This place is fantastic possibly the best we have booked! The attention to detail was fantastic with comfort at its best. Right on the river so short walk to the falls and into Aysgarth. Communication with Emma was brilliant. Loved the RIVER DANCE chopping board boot rack and many other brilliant touches. All appliances were very high quality with good instructions on how to use. Very very warm as we were there over New Year and huge storm which made the Aysgarth Falls spectacular. Lovely walks close from the doorstep. Beds very comfortable and Towels and bath robes embossed which was an excellent touch. Walked to the Aysgarth Falls hotel and good IPA Black Sheep pint. Lovely log burner to make the place even cosier. Highly recommend this cottage for a Yorkshire Dales stay . Many Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage.

    Comfortable warm bedroom, fabulous pillows on the bed, good shower. Plenty of parking, Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful eg letting me have breakfast 15 minutes earlier than start time.

    It would certainly suit people on their hiking adventures but the car park was flooded with the rain, so my tights and shoes got wet through,, so make sure you have appropriate foot wear at all times
