Dalrachney Lodge is wonderful! Steve and Tracy are very personable and caring hosts. We stayed in the superior king room for one night, and it was truly lovely. The bed was comfortable, the furniture was beautiful, and the bathroom exceeded my expectations. They provided a delectable made-to-order breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend staying here, and look forward to staying with these caring hosts in the future! Steve even gave us recommendations of places to stop along our journey that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. We stopped at the bridge in Carrbridge, House of Bruar and the falls behind it, and Hettie's in Pitlochry and loved all of these recommendations!

The Highland getaway was amazing..very much 5 star.. had things we didn't think we needed! The attention to detail was above and beyond. Even dressing gowns and slippers. Beds were super comfy. Shower was powerfully and hot. And cooking facility was spot on. The kids loved the freedom of the park with forest walks across the road. And steam train within 5 mins walk.. no WiFi was not a problem for us. But there was no connection.

    The room was in a separate building. They are converted from a house so individual, quiet, small and clean. Nothing overly special about them. Off street parking is available. I had to leave early so staff were good at providing an uncooked breakfast at 7.30am, just when service started. Nice area for walking and access to the Cairngorms.

    Owner of the hotel is a very passionate and kind man. Tell him your travel plans and he will have great tips for your stays. Recommended us multiple beautiful locations. Comfortable beds, bath / shower, good TV, overall a great room. Free parking. Wee pub and great restaurant are part of the hotel. Would highly recommend!
