Fabulous little chalet, great & peaceful location. Very well presented with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Broadband & satellite TV very hit & miss, probably due to location. Great welcome pack with teabags, biscuits, milk and sweet treats 😊 Great selection of games and books provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location is second to none - completely remote and a few steps away from the Golden Cap. The cottage itself is utterly charming with lovely original features and a wonderful garden. The higgledy piggledy stairs are a particular highlight! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and we could have happily stayed for much longer. The walks surrounding the property are stunning. My other half's family have stayed here for decades and it's easy to see why. We hope to stay again soon.

    1) Location was superb. Only stayed here as original booking in Lyme Regis had building works and cancelled. This worked v much in our favour as LR is 2-1/ mile walk or 10-min bus ride, and Charmouth was so much less touristy. (2) comfortable and easy to feel at home, with spacious lounge area and thoughtful honesty bar and local info. (3) on-site parking, safe, close and free. (4) was spotlessly clean. (5) hosts and staff so friendly and lovely. (6) had twin room. (7) affordable.

    We had a excellent time at hensleigh House very friendly would definitely recommend this b&b it is a lovely place to stay all the staff are very friendly . The b&b is very close to the beach very comfortable rooms great breakfast plenty of car parking and lovely pub the Royal Oak just up the road that does great food will definitely return to this b&b in the future
