Every now and then you come across a hotel that really leaves you admiring every detail in and every interaction, and the Balmoral is one of those hotels, it is exactly what you would imagine an iconic 5 star hotel in the Scottish capital to feel like from the moment you enter to the moment you leave everything is immaculate and it's really earned it's reputation the room, the service, the food options were all spot on. it was our first holiday with our 5 month old first born and all his and our needs were catered for perfectly and we can't to come back.

The property is very close to the city centre, you can easily get a bus directly to the city centre. Plus this house is ideal for families and groups. The property had pretty much everything from clean rooms to furnished kitchen. They also do provide breakfast, which is a plus amongst all the listed houses here. The host mandy were a great host and were readily available for any help or responses. I would 100% recommend this property to people travelling to Edinburgh.

Really cozy property which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Bathrooms and bedroom was incredibly clean, and the kitchen was absolutely delightful! Owners are very accommodating too - definitely would recommend to others!

It was very cosy, modern technology for the lights and heating. Compact but enough space for a couple. The spa was the cherry ontop. Extra little gestures for the experience also like hot chocolate for coming in from the spa etc.

Staff were very friendly and professional in their roles would definitely return. Plentiful car parking and 24hr reception. Free cancellation up to 2 days before.

    Very good standard of accommodation. The adjacent hotel is very good for meals. Pretty beer garden too. Location whilst further out from Edinburgh was very good with easy access to the motorway with lots of free parking for our rental car. Nice and quiet at night too.
