This was like a home away from home. A wonderful place to stay and explore Fort Augustus. Whether you have sunshine or rain. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the details that were available, such as the sensor for a little light in the bathroom (very welcome during the night;)). I can imagine some people commenting on being able to properly cook in the lodge, but I haven't missed it at all considering the available restaurants nearby (i looooved the haggis with drambuie sauce!).

Very nice and kind hosts. Great location in very beautiful and silent place. The room is comfortable and cosy and the bird watching window is just the gem! We had a pleasant walk in the morning to the bridge and around. Recommended!
