Comfortable, clean and warm. Room was light, well decorated and beautiful bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Hosts very welcoming and excellent breakfast both mornings of my stay. Great for a solo female traveller. Parking on site. I did a walk nearby around Newstead with a view of the abbey. Looking forward to returning!

Very nice an cosy bedroom.. confortable bed..nice view on the garden..well furnished too (tea coffee and kettle).very neat and air -fresh space..the same for the well furnished privative bathroom..Claire the landlord IS very nice and professionnal..she gave me useful instructions to reach her home.You dont realize you are sharing her home as everything is done for you to enjoy the journey.. House cleverly organized and private spaces well identified.Plus the place is city centre located.I do recommend !

It was lovely when we got there but got even better. I was sick on arrival and we ended up staying longer than planned. Sharon was fantastic, really taking care of us both. And the room has the best bed I think I have ever slept in... And since I was in it a lot, it was even more appreciated.

    Liked the area and grounds. Room was a decent size (standard double). Great pool, hot tub and sauna. Games room. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Gym was good. Free car parking. Morrisons and couple pubs near by. Bathroom was very clean. Good place to stay bit needs a bit more TLC.

    plenty of car parking options with a short walk to reception. warm welcome on entry & clear directions to find our room. pleasant bar facilities & restaurant for evening meal. prices were competitive in competition to their sector. buffet breakfast was ok.

    Onsite secure parking. Efficient checkin/out. Bamboo keycards. Comfortable bed, excellent shower with grabrail and nonslip mat provided. Well organised swiiming pool and gym facilities, additional games room. Good range of food (restaurant or more informal bar). Great buffet breakfast.

    Breakfast had a very good choice and was well presented and well cooked. Dinner was good, reasonably priced and well cooked. Luckily we went when there were no conferences on and it was quietish but I suspect it could get very crowded when events are on as its a big hotel with large conference rooms. It has very nice grounds with plenty of tables to sit outside at. It has a nice indoor pool and facilities which are free (but we didnt use them). Plenty of free parking.
