We loved our stay here . They could not do enough for us . The rooms were really comfortable. They even prepared a Gluten free breakfast . The staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast lovely . Would not hesitate in recommending as a place to stay .

Caravan had everything you could need and more. Perfect for families having 3 bedrooms and a cot and games etc. We really loved the free bottle of bubbly and water etc it was a lovely touch. The hosts communicated well all the time and when we couldn’t find the remote for the living room TV they turned up with a new TV. The bed was very comfy and there were plenty of spare duvets. This caravan was definitely value for money making it a very reasonably priced holiday for a young family with kids. Thanks so much for letting us stay and your hospitality.

Great location for getting to places I wanted to go to like Consett. Plus I was able to meet up with some relatives downstairs in the bistro for coffee & breakfast the first morning of my stay which was great.

The site was extremely quiet and relaxing. Hot tub was an excellent feature. Had a calm walk through the woods surrounding site. The caravan was warm and cosy. It had everything we needed home from home. Provided cleaning materials to use. Books were available and Tv had Netflix too.

    Only stopped off as a break from a long journey back from Scotland, but this place i fell in love with. The evening meal i ordered was first class. Good selection of local brews or real ale at the bar. Very accommodating and friendly staff.The location was excellent, lots of places to walk in beautiful surroundings. The room and bed are very comfortable. Had the choice of both bath or shower. The hotel is very dog friendly, it was pleasing to see some responsible dog owners and such lovely friendly animals. Great parking facility.

    Fantastic place for an overnight stay, great food & drink in a lovely village. Staff friendly who were welcoming to us & Dave the dog. Room a little compact but very clean with good facilities & powerful hot shower. Parking for our big van not a problem. Bonus of the little Baa pub not far away too.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodated our dog. Meals were very nice and reasonably priced. Plenty of parking spaces The room was nice and warm and very quiet. We will visit again but I will make sure I have a room with a bath so I don't get an ear bashing from the wife 🫣😊
