The staff were really friendly from the moment we got there until the moment we left! The room was lovely, clean, tidy, well stocked and equipped. Information about parking, check in/out, restaurant was all really clear. The Bowling Green was superb, friendly and organised staff and the food was superb

We absolutely loved our stay here.The old parlour is perfect we loved everything about it!! It was spotless extremely comfortable peaceful the hot tub was divine we couldn't fault it at all. Great parking facilities. Only 5 mins from Alton Towers.

I stayed here with a friend after a day at nearby Alton towers. It was a wonderful cottage, really beautifully decorated and very clean. The hosts were lovely and left a really nice snack hamper along with milk, butter, eggs. Loads of cookware, plates, glasses etc. The reclining sofa & Sky TV was a treat to relax to after a long day and the bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. Lovely accommodation and will be recommending to friends & family!

    Location was great with ample parking space and even (free) EV chargers which was a bonus. The refurbished rooms were super comfortable, far better than some of the more established big hotel chains at similar price point (or higher). Quality of food served at breakfast was excellent.

    Such a beautiful, well decorated, comfortable and elegant hotel. Our room was outstanding in every detail. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent, right down to the beautiful china and choice of food available. The staff are very good, pleasant to deal with and professional. There were electric car recharging points in the car park. The little mini fridge with fresh milk was a nice touch. We will return.

    This is a lovely Pub with great location, good parking and outdoor areas for better weather. Rooms are beautiful, ours was in the Walnut Tree Barn with nice rural views across the undulating fields. Our room had a lovely comfy large bed and was very well appointed, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Lovely atmospheric Pub with good food, but some minor issues with service, which a few tweaks would remedy and make it amazing!
