We had a very pleasant stay at the Royal Oak guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable. Alice and Eric were very nice and helpful. Eric helped me fix a problem with my bicycle which was stored safely in the garage. The breakfast was a treat and we were able to get a washing done. We will surely return when we are in the neighborhood.

Fantastic stay here, the perfect place to explore Orkney from. Dorothy was wonderful and ensured everything was well organised, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!
