Spotless and had more than enough facilities. Everything you could need and more to make your stay comfortable. Hosts communication and information was really good. The location of the Blue Boar is perfect. It is in a quiet and small little village with next to no passing traffic. The rooms are quaint, clean and beautifully presented. Laura and her husband were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast was lovely and plentiful and there a variety of options available to those who wished for a lighter meal. The residents bar is cosy and welcoming and tastefully decorated.

Meadow View truly did have amazing views over the corn fields with a private garden and outdoor entertainment area fully equipped for BBQ. The shepherd's hut was beautifully laid out for all our comforts and being only a short walk to the Heritage railway and tea rooms was a real treat. Mike our host was very helpful. Will definitely come back in the winter to experience the woodburner.
