Really enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The location was beautiful over looking the sea. The breakfast was good with having some gluten free options too. Our room was very spacious and clean and super comfortable.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying in Des’s beautiful Langley penthouse in Edinburgh, and I can honestly say it made our trip just as memorable as the city itself. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped from fun family games to every little convenience you could possibly think of. The sea view from the penthouse was simply breathtaking, and we loved waking up to it every morning. One of the standout features was the detailed guidebook. It covered everything: how to get into the apartment, which buses to take, local attractions, and nearby gems worth exploring. It saved us so much time and made our stay absolutely stress-free. The location itself couldn’t have been better — with a bus stop nearby( bus 11 very frequent), getting around was effortless. Above all, Des himself was an exceptional host. He was warm, polite, and thoughtful in every interaction. His care and attention to detail truly set this stay apart. Edinburgh is a city of unmatched beauty, and staying in Des’s penthouse felt like the perfect reflection of that beauty. This wasn’t just accommodation; it was a complete leisure experience for our family. We cannot recommend this place highly enough, and we would return in a heartbeat.

The flat was lovely! I rented it for my sons to stay in (aged 19 & 22] as the whole family was up/over for my Mums funeral, and my Dad's house isn't big enough for us all. It was spacious, clean, and has a very well equipped in the kitchen - which often isn't so in many places I've found. The beds were comfortable, with spare blankets, etc, if needed. One room has an ensuite shower room, and it has a separate bathroom(shower over the bath) too. The view out over the harbour to the Firth of Forth was lovely, especially as the sun shone. The owner, Maya, couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Sorting out an issue with the tv connection and popping to the flat do this, and also getting extra bedding from storage to allow me to stay with my two on the last night on the fold out sofa bed (also very comfy!) to save me the extra 20 minute drive bag to my Dad's after a long day trip up to Aberdeenshire and back for mums woodland burial. Thank you so much, Maya, for your thoughtfulness and kindness and for keeping such a beautiful flat for us to stay in.

    Breakfast was good. Restaurant a little dated, food ok but nice views over the Firth of Forth. Restaurant staff were efficient but seemed a bit unhappy. The balcony rooms were great - amazing views and cool mezzanine. Front desk staff went out of their way to help us during our stay - they facilitated a late check in, made us a packed breakfast as we were up too early! Kudos to to the front of house staff - than you. Good car parking.

    The view of the sea and beach throughout the hotel made me feel so relaxed and calm, our room (129) premier deluxe was situated on the ground floor with patio doors there are a few bushes in the way of the view but this helped with privacy. The eating area and restaurant were very nice the food was lovely and the prices were reasonable. The location was good it was only 5 minutes in the car to Kinghorn train station with free parking, 45 minutes to Edinburgh Waverley station for £10.40 pp.

    Beautiful views, gorgeous food. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I booked into the disabled room to review. My sister arriving from USA 1st October and the plan is to bring my elderly parents for few night stay. Definitely recommend although the disabled room looks into caravans and parking lot which is the only down side. Elaine Carlton
