the host abbey was so friendly and helpful, the house was absolutely gorgeous! we were made feel so comfortable and I would absolutely stay here again the next time we go on a trip to Alton towers. we left something behind and abbey has been more than accommodating trying to organise to get it back to us.

We absolutely loved our stay here.The old parlour is perfect we loved everything about it!! It was spotless extremely comfortable peaceful the hot tub was divine we couldn't fault it at all. Great parking facilities. Only 5 mins from Alton Towers.

A stunning Shepherds Hut, contains so many amenities and more for a break nr the peak district. Host was very quick with the responses to our questions and was very helpful. Bathroom was superb considering the remoteness of the Hut.

    Lovely host, great bed - I'm over 6ft and some beds are a bit short, this was a great size. House was warm but not too warm. Very clean, tidy and quiet. Just what I needed for a short overnight stay. Parking space on their drive kept the car nice and safe and off the street.
