Thoughtfully & tastefully planned, comforts of home. The room was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was large & well designed with modern fittings. Alan, the owner & host gave us very warm welcome, shared much about Scotland’s history. He was very hospitable & attentive. Breakfast was sumptuous and personally cooked by Allan himself. Will certainly visit the property again should we visit Scotland in the future.

We loved this property! So spacious and well decorated. Had everything we needed, spotlessly clean and comfy beds. Really reasonably priced for a large place. Would highly recommend. Good tvs with access to Netflix Disney etc and tea and coffee sachets. Some games as well. Really well equipped for children a cot was put up with a nice blanket and some baby books.

A beautifully finished perfectly furnished property in a beautiful location. Immaculate and very well stocked. Has everything you need and more. Relaxing, clean and very comfortable. This bed and breakfast is amazing. The location was so quiet which suited us perfectly. Close walk to restaraunts which was an added bonus. Gillian and Lee the owners could not do enough to make our stay more wonderful than it was. Truly lovely people and so generous of their time and compassion. I mentioned to Gillian about me having a cihildhood treat when I lived in Scotland and she went out and tried to buy me the same treat. So heartwarming and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Everything it was amazing and above our expectations We had access to or own private bathroom that was modern and beautiful, we both felt very comfortable showing here as in other places they have shared bathrooms and it's not as comfortable. The Private hot tub was the cherry on the top for us and also the seat swings around the garden to sit on and enjoy the views. Me and my wife came here after or wedding in gretna on are way up in to the Scottish mountains and we couldn’t be happy with are visit. So much so we are already planning on coming back in the summer months

    The location was excellent, being on site for the museum and surroundings was excellent. New Lanark railway station was very close by with plenty of free parking for a rail trip to Glasgow, which was just an hour away, with frequent trains.

    I stayed in one of the Waterhouses, which are directly on the river with lovely views. You enter into a spacious hallway that leads into a lounge with a well equipped kitchenette. The bedroom was downstairs and very spacious. There is also plenty of free parking.

    The riverside location great for watching wild life - seeing a pair of otters frollicing in the river an absolute bonus. Saturday night a wedding reception at the hotel - but the waterhouses totally free from the noise of the band! Used restaurant once - food and service good, but limited choice for vegetarians. New Lanark provides easy road access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow - it would help potential guests to know about the free parking at the park&ride at Ingliston, and the inexpensive and frequent tram to central Edinburgh.
