We had a brilliant short stay in Ravensworth. The accommodation was ideal, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, and spacious bedroom. We appreciated the tea, coffee and sweet treats on arrival. Located in the heart of the village, Thimble Cottage is an ideal base for local walks. The village pub is only a short distance away and offers a fabulous choice of tasty dishes.

    Ease of finding the place, and location was lovely and easy reach of Darlington. Plenty of Parking and full use of the house is a great idea. The host was on hand to show me what's what and made me feel really welcome. The room was great with all the amenities you would need and the WIFI is very useful although mobile signal for me was no issue. The book with all the information of what you can use in the house and nearby taxi's pubs etc was very useful.
