I was travelling for work in the area and The Ashwoods House was a perfect stop over. The host did her best for a smooth late check-in. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning with fresh fruit salad and warm pastries just couldn't be better. Great experience! I'd definitely stay again when in the area.

Absolutely spotlessly clean, beds were really comfy, loads of hot water. It was a lovely touch that bottled water and milk in the fridge. Can't fault it. We'll be back in the summer for a few nights. Thanks Robert.

Perfect stay for a group of friends. The house sleeps 10 people very comfortably. It was very clean, tidy and spacious and the kitchen had everything needed for a group of people staying away for a few nights including cooking and cleaning utensils. We had some trouble working the gas and the host was more than helpful. Would recommend this lodge to everyone. The hot-tub is an added bonus!
