The breakfast was fabulous, the rooms were incredible comfortable and the nature around the hotel is wonderful. We have a small dog, and had a great walk in the morning before breakfast. Also the dinner was perfect after a long day of walking and exploring. You could warm yourself next to the woodfire, with a refreshing cider and a happy and tired dog at your feet. Highly recommended.

The lady that received us and took care of us is the nicest, most welcoming host we’ve ever met. The room was just marvellous. we didn’t really want to leave the premise at any point. It’s actually 10x better even in real life than on pictures. Breakfast was incredible too. 100% worth every penny and more.

    They had a full breakfast every day of the week. Very nice, They had biscuits a kettle, Cups in the room, Coffee sachets and tea. In the room we were in it overlooked the car parking area, nice view, had a bed room on one side of the room and a seating area on the other, both sides had a TV. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did stay for food for one night and that was very good.

    Excellent food and service, clean room and facilities, free parking, not too far from the hotel. The location is beautiful, and I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of glasses of rose whilst contemplating Windemere Lake. The pool isn't massive but big enough to swim, one jacuzzi and 2 steam rooms, not used the gym but it's there! Overall, this was a great experience and a place where we will definitely return. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, couldn't ask for more.

    The hotel is in a beautiful spot, a short walk to Windermere lakeside. It is clean and the staff are welcoming. We had air con in the room. Free parking for guests.

    The staff are outstanding at reception and the waiting staff should where so helpfully, one young lady asked a gentleman who was unsteady onnhis feet adked if he woukd like a habd with breakfast service, the Gym and all other facilities outstanding very good the room was very large with lots of space,free car parking and lovely views from the room,
