The new owners have extensively refurbished the Fox Inn and the staff are all friendly and helpful The rooms are bespoke lodges at the rear of the inn, even on a cold and frosty evening, the place is warm and inviting.

The place is absolutely spotless. The room is beautiful and just perfect with good quality furniture and mattress. Good shower, fantastic lighting, coffee and tea facilities.... Etc.. WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast was incredible with good quality products and lots of choices. One can see the owners are doing this with love and do everything to make you feel comfortable. I booked about half an hour before arriving and that didn't stop the nice lady to prepare a room for me. They are really very kind!

    All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a great choice for breakfast in a lovely room overlooking the countryside setting-----lovely mature trees in their extensive grounds,, which also included a lake etc. The parking areas were just a short walk from the main house, conveniently situated. As my friend and I were here to walk the Essex Way, it was an ideal location as the Essex Way passes very near to the boundary of their parkland.
