This hotel was a wonderful discovery. It is an old coaching inn built in the 1600s and it has been beautifully decorated and is run by the owner and two other middle aged ladies and they run the place like a well oiled machine. We were very impressed. Food was the best food we had during a week in Scotland. We highly recommend this hotel.

Callum is a friendly and easygoing host. The B&B offers great dinner and breakfast. We're surprised by the quality and originality. Callander is a nice, small town (with a great bakery) in beautiful and potentially adventurous surroundings. The rooms are very charming and tastefully decorated. It made us feel at home. We had our own bathroom, but I don't know if that's 'normal' since the other room wasn't occupied. We stopped by for only one night (and had to hit the road the next day), but we'd love to stay.

Crannaig house is so nice and sweet, it was our first day in Scotland and that was perfect start of our trip! I liked the house itself and our room. Everything is extremely clean, new, quality linen, big fluffy towels, soaps, cream and shampoo by Scottish natural Highland Soap company. We also got a sweet present, homemade here in Aberfoyle. Please don’t hesitate to have breakfasts and dinner at Crannaig House, because Shaun is excellent cook and everything was so delicious! Also Shaun gave us some suggestions for our rout. Thank you very much and best wishes!

    We really enjoyed staying at the property. Tony is a super-host! He was nice, always ready to help and made us feel at home. The location is very tranquil. Free car park is on site. The cabin we stayed in is newly built and stylish (the only issue is the lack of storage space. I felt the lack of shelves or chest of drawers). Kitchen is well equipped, living room is cozy and spacious.
