    Location amongst the Lake District was very central and quiet. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were a good size and you couldn't hear other guests in their rooms. Staff were helpful with local information and car parking was a blessing!

    Location was just superb. Car parking available immediately outside of the hotel. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of variety. My dog was allowed in most of the hotel areas and felt welcome. Good value when you consider all that is provided with the gardens and location. If you have a dog, come here. Put on your walking boots .... straight from the front door. Make sure you make time to visit the extensive gardens, Grot and waterfall. I will be back 😊

    This hotel was perfect for my walk around the fairfield horseshoe...great old building, lovely gardens, comfy room, polite and accommodating staff, free parking, and just to finish off a lovely buffet breakfast...its just a nice place to be..I'll definitely return...
