We had a large, airy room in the converted barn annexe so it was quiet, with a very comfortable bed and nice toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and staff polite and helpful, although especial praise should go to the lady who was serving breakfast singlehandedly on Remembrance Sunday morning. Probably the most comfortable bed we have slept on when away. All the staff engaged in conversation with you almost as a friend rather than just another customer. Good food and a decent range of ales. Super breakfast options. Outside area for eating with Sunday live music a bonus in the sunshine. Car parking a short walk away and the parking app was easy to deal with using the hotels WiFi so no getting out early the next morning to pay for the car!!Guest review byLesleyYoung couple
