Beautiful apartment in an excellent location, right next to Harwich beach. Easy to reach by car (parking on the street in front of the house was no problem) and an easy 10-15 minute walk from Harwich Dovercourt train station. The house is lovely, clean and comfortable. Our host Sue was very easy and pleasant to communicate with and it was very easy to access the house.

The house was very comfortable and in a quiet location. We never heard the neighbours nor any street noise so it was super relaxing. Lola made it very welcoming with lots of extra touches such as mulled wine and mince pies for us as we stayed over Christmas. My twins loved their room at the back of the property and enjoyed their own space. We had some nice walks despite the gloomy weather although sadly too cold to sit in the garden. Would definitely recommend the house for couples and families alike.

Lovely house, exceeded expectations from all that stayed. The house was spotless all the way through. The kitchen was nice and big when it came to both storing food and drink and for eating in. 10 guests stayed and we all got comfortably in the house. The living room was also very nice with plenty of space to fit us all in and chill. I believe we might have got lucky for parking considering the location but we managed to get 3 car parking spots directly out the front of the house.

The lodge was perfect so nicley decorated. Very comfortable beds. Had everything you needed. Location was fantastic for us as have family close by. Lovely place for our family gathering.

I loved the sea view, the 4 patio doors that are in the living area which lead onto the spacious balcony and AstroTurf flooring, the modern yet classic design, the maritime feel, the ships lights at night, the sofa which gives a brilliant relaxing view over the sea, lovely at night - to classic FM on their smart TV and the little lamp on... perfect. We never closed the curtains as the view was so comforting. It took me back to the 80s when I used to live in the area. The light house is a real time landmark for me as I was baptised there in the sea as a kid at the Olive Tree Christian Fellowship (back in the 80s) and the beautiful pictures of that same lighthouse in the flat was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better. The picture in the 2nd bedroom (with twin beds) had the old pier that I used to walk on as a kid with my dad, this really was the cherry on the cake. Words cant describe the absolute tribute to Harwich that flat is. Amazing place. If you want to feel the spirit and vibe of Harwich in a modern, yet cosy, warm and classy way, then this is the place I recommend. The host laid on a decent bottle of M&S gin and rose, some chocolates and shortbread, not expecting that at all. We are very grateful and wish the hosts many more years of health and happiness. Don't go anywhere else!

    The property was in an amazing location with the most stunning view all times of day. lots of parking available with a great pub/restaurant downstairs and another only 5 minutes away. The staff always went above and beyond. The locals too were also very friendly and helped us when the car broke down. would highly recommend
